The Russell Hobbs kettle like it very much. Looks very elegant with the combination of Schott glass, stainless steel and black plastic. The Russel Hobbes brings the 1.7 liter capacity in just over 5 minutes to the cooking and makes it relatively quiet. My stainless steel predecessor of Severin was there deultich louder. The prescribed maximum filling line you should absolutely adhere to, have seen a little looser the beginning and immediately had a pond on the countertop. I do not know if that's so anfnags all kettles, here I had to cook and throw away about 20 liters and clean the boiler once inside with Spüli until the unpleasant chemical smell was gone. After that everything was fine. When reading the manual well manageable, I stumbled upon the recommendation, the machine to clean 1 x per month. After cooking, the first water filling was clear to me why. The metal plate attracts lime almost magically, after only a single cooking process, the disk is already covered with unsightly Kalkblümchen what I do not find that great. Since it does not detract from the function, but I have it deducted no star, I now EM ceramic pipes inserted (there is also on Amazon to buy) and thus the calcification slightly reduced.
All in all I can recommend the Russel Hobbes kettle warmly and also find the price reasonable.
