First was once said that you have to have luck with ordering !! The first time I got the 1215B, the wireless connection is always closed when the signal was weak. Guess that the WLAN module was defective. Did then a second order to check this assumption ... and lo and behold, the second 1215B of wireless reception is absolutely super and the wireless speed is also for surfing absolutely sufficient. When DSL 16,000 one loose reaches full speed transmission. (DSL Speedtest repeatedly carried out) the first 1215B I just needed to post and I hope for a speedy refund by Amazon!
When researching for 1215B I read some forums and would now like to give briefly a few tips to the most frequently asked questions here:
1. Windows installation: the best plate complete flattening (Express Gate can forget) and then the like Win 7 draufspielen via USB stick. Although this case you have to change anything in the BIOS (as here already often mentioned) also goes, but is easier to press the ASUS splash screen 'Esc' key. Then comes a choice of boot media. Myself Win 7 Pro 64bit made it, went without problems!
2. Load drivers from the HP Ausu, are partly more recent than that of the supplied CD
3. Performance Index:
a. Prior to the RAM expansion: 3,9 - 5.5 to 4.5 - 5.8 to 5.9.
b. After installing the SAMSUNG original 4 GB DDR3-1333 PC3-10600 CL9 204 pin SO-DIMM (M471B5273BH1-CH9): 3,9 - 5.7 to 4.5 - 5.8 to 5.9.
c. For some the processor is only 2.4. The reason is that with mains operation and one charge under about 93%, the frequency is halved (about 825 MHz). (You can for example with CPU-Z look) treasures, this is due to the extremely small power adapter that otherwise might not have enough power to charge the battery has. Remedy: Remove battery or wait until the battery is fully charged and then perform performance index.
d. In Power-safe mode, the CPU overclocked to max. 1320 MHz.
4. keyboard flexes: This is not the case with my netbook.
5. WLAN: already described above, if you're lucky properly. Then possibly invite Larger files available on cable.
6. HD movies: Again, not a problem with VLC (GPU support enabled) on the Netbookscreen, with an external monitor via HDMI, I have not tested it.

Conclusion: Give 4 stars because I had to order a second device. If I had had at the first lucky, it would have been full 5!
Amazon: Delivery within 3 days each ... Super! If now works then the refund for the first netbook I am fully satisfied!
