The Z30-A-1CZ is significantly more complicated to open compared to the R630, all screws are among the Kunstoffüssen.
Unfortunately there is no "service door" as with the HP notebooks.
Inside is a free DDR3L slot, the slot for UMTS / LTE module resides (the other Z30 have) is not fitted and also the docking port is not equipped.
Advantage is the Z30 has despite the thinness a LAN connection and a USB Lan adapter as other manufacturers.
I have my Z30 Once upgraded with an 8GB Transcend module is functioning properly.
The notebook starts extremely fast and I get a battery life from 6.5 to 9 hours depending on what I do with the notebook.
Display is lit brightly and uniformly, the USB 3.0 ports are really fast (as are other notebooks with other chipsets really slow) and the image on the VGA output is class.
Unfortunately, there is only a combined 3.5 mm jack for the headset, thus does not fit because each and you need an adapter.
Advantage of the Toshiba notebooks is that you can book to guarantee a 3 year "no matter what happens."
An advantage I see the dimensions of the relatively small power supply (compared to R630 or to other manufacturers).
Point deduction, there were only for the cumbersome opening of the housing and do not mount internal interfaces (UMTS / LTE) - that is saved on the docking port was previously unknown to me.
