I have the Asus UL80VT now completely thrilled for about a month as a working notebook in use and am. I had chosen for this laptop because I was looking for a handy notebook with which I can work well on the way and that is also powerful enough for HD video in .mkv format and for various audio applications. These points fulfilled it perfectly, I have always worked on a 9 hour day with it and left it all the time turned on and still have the battery is not completely empty. The videos are all smooth and even most audio applications run without restrictions. (Some computation-intensive software synthesizers running somewhat choppy, but I did not expect anything else.) It must be noted in passing that I have not even tested for lack of time the Turbo mode that yes again promises an increase in performance.
So I give an unqualified recommendation to buy, the price is reasonable and the price / performance ratio is definitely true.
