Like every year, I forgot to pump out the water barrels in the fall. And as always I found it with the first snow again. So ice in the first barrel smashed, but the old pump no longer works! Looked on Amazon, read a few reviews and above. Pump ordered. Ware came on the second day, well packaged. Unpacked pump connected a prev. Hose, again made a hole in the thick ice cover now 7cm approx, attached a chain to drain the pump at the sturdy handle and the whole sunk through the ice hole in Wassser. The approximately 10m long connecting cable is sufficient for me directly to the power outlet in the garden shed. Within a short time the two 500l water barrels were emptied. Wg the float switches remain 10cm water level in the drum. For me no problem. Set for the pump present in the bottom of the water barrels sheets is not a problem. So for my purposes the right product.
