Because standing in the description, that you should not grind over haze, I have the old mills also screwed and washed. This grinder is steeper than that of the old and thus has a wider squish. The brush has grinding with the old mills improved, but it is no longer as in the beginning. The mill I can only recommend, it served excellently, is light and easy to clean and affordable with the price. Think 7 or 8 years necessary to replace it. Perhaps the manufacturer / seller has indeed only the grinder or the lid with grinder as a substitute.
