This camera in my opinion and user experience of other cameras differs by:
+ Fast operational readiness, rapid focus, quick triggering
+ I think there is no camera, which creates even more series pictures / second as this -> Action Camera!
+ Optionally, the noiseless electronic shutter are aktviviert. Enables unnoticed photographing.
Then creates even more series pictures / second!
+ Swivel display in all possible directions
+ Has a viewfinder with superimposed menu
+ Has a built-in flash and also for professional Blitzer still a hot shoe
+ Has an intuitive menu
+ For those who do not want to deal with it, the so-called "iA" automatic ass mode (by the way, really makes great pictures, especially advisable even in difficult lighting conditions, since the donkey mode makes better pictures than I ;-)
+ The feel is good. Just plastic, but overall quality. Do not know why some complain about here in the reviews about it.
+ An MFT (Micro Four Thirds) sensor or bayonet. This means that the sensor is slightly smaller than a SLR, but what you can make up for a lens with good light intensity. The MFT mount makes it possible for you both Olymplus MFT and Panasonic MFT (and Sigma MFT) lenses can be mounted easily and thus has a great range of lenses to choose from. Even if you eventually throw away the body, the lenses remain a yes, and you can then in a few years a new Panasonic or Olympus Body buy u can then continue using the lenses. (For other manufacture bayonets are often not even compatible within the same store brand!)
+ To zoom 14-140mm: Very good touch, brightness and clarity for this zoom width very well. Perfect travel lens!
(Exceeds to my comparison test with sharpness, haptics, Bokeh, mounting the Olympus 14-150mm).
Nevertheless, it comes naturally in detail or not ran at magnifications of a bright fixed focal length. Here are the Sigma MFT or Olympus Zuiko Lenses MFT recommended as a supplement if you can really count each lash individually with the photographed people want .... Respectively there indeed Adapter for possibly existing lenses ....
Complaint points I found a few.
Let's say this: Even among those who I have found, it is not difficult to deal with it:
- For a system camera it is relatively large (for it is but good in the hand)
- Users should be advised that their carrying. The enclosed operating instructions is in fact really puny.
- ISO 100 there is not that useful in practice range is ISO 160-800 (even if the camera itself can more ISO)
In summary, I find the camera well for people who want to photograph people on the move, where speed in standby or the need for sequential shots are required such as in children or in animal photography. But you have to be willing to dive into the technology of the camera, read the book and also use the camera functions.
