This medium-priced UV filter with its precision aluminum filter thread protects the lens from dust and mechanical damage. Optical drawbacks can not be identified. Even in RAW format and at higher magnifications are loss of sharpness and color defects not recognizable. Can do much better image results possible if much more expensive filter, I can not answer. - Buy recommendation.
