My first impression: The lamp gives off a rather "cold" light, but this is for the corridor area perfectly fine. The "warm start" function ensures that the lamp from the beginning the set (see below) has brightness. However, I have a feeling that they do is a little bit brighter when it is switched on for a while.
Prima is that the lamp can be quite simple dimming with a normal light switch. Switch off and on again and already changed the lamp permanently their intensity continuously between 2% ("felt" at least 10%) and 100%. When the desired brightness is reached, lamp ausschalteten and already the current brightness is stored. In normal operation, the lamp will then start with the stored brightness.
I use the dim light to the hallway outside the nursery evening to light (orientation light). This is very handy. If I need times more light in the hall: No problem - I can dim brighter the lamp.
I also like the design. The Govena switch in this version is barely larger than a conventional incandescent lamp (E27). Nevertheless, you should measure before buying whether the Govena switch is housed in the lamp housing. Since the lamp is slightly longer than a normal light bulb and the "end" not narrower (since it's just more cylindrical as drop-shaped), it may be too tight in the narrow lamp housings may yet. The lamp base with about 12.4 cm long (a bulb about 10.0 cm) and has a width of approximately 6.2 cm (light bulb at its widest point about 6.0 cm). For me everything was fine.
General acts the lamp stable well finished (what can not be said of all the energy-saving lamps).
The technical details are indeed in the item description, so I repeat spare me here.
