The Toshiba looks like a light bulb, but is still quite a bit longer than an incandescent lamp. This one should note when you read the word "retrofit". In all lamps the Toshiba but does not fit then. And (hence only almost perfect!) The Toshiba shines not completely round but more in one direction due to the electronics, which is housed in the lamp base. This, too, should be observed when eg a ceiling lamp thus endows -. Some lamps live from the fact that the light really goes in all directions.
However, the essence of the Toshiba is the light - and that's wonderful. No trace of the operating room light, it is an even warmtöniges, but not overly warm light.
From looking at the light, I could not easily tell if it is an LED or incandescent lamp normals.
When switching on, I think that it still about one tenth of a second lasts until the LED lights up. The waiting period, I would, however, want it hardly call. Even after turning off the lamp a little after, for about 2 seconds. In everyday use, however it does not matter.
If you consider that the lamp hardly power than the standby of a not quite modern video recorder - then this lamp is almost be described as miraculous. Not for nothing were the LED invention indeed this year the Nobel Prize.
