For a few steps, a second person is helpful. I had the opportunity to lay the boards on a brick (books would continue to do so), but if a second person when lifting the last step for about 5 minutes helps it comes easier.
A star deduction I have given because the bed can inside only 195,7cm for the slatted frame. For slatted "FMP mattress factory 22-0003 7 zone slatted Rhodes KF, adjustable head and foot, 44 bar, 100 x 200 cm" are unfortunately a few mm (about 4 mm I would estimate) too little. Although I could easily fix it, as I have cut off the rubber covering of the slatted base and the slatted frame was then "clamped" during assembly of the bed, but it's still annoying.
Otherwise I can only say: Super bed!

* All corners are well rounded.
* The Matztatze is far enough out of the holder, so you do not feel the wood on the edge when you sit down.
* The Matzatze is fixed in the bed, but did not have to be squeezed.
* The bed makes a stable impression
* Everything can be solved well again, so I'm confident that I can take the bed during a move.
For the dimensions: from the storage area of the slatted base to the upper edge of the side board is about 13.5 cm. The bedposts is then to about 15cm. [...]
