Delivery within 48 hours what more could you want ... unpacked the pan immediately and from the car ... What can I say it fits to 100% and is the original boot tub of VW in every way. Also nice is that this tub here, rubber and if I need the jump seats in our 7 seater VW Touran I can just roll up the trunk tray and put in the remaining trunk. In my view, the better solution as the normal plastic tubs. Because there hurls the load in the trunk or the dog at every turn from one to the other corner.
So as far as the smell. Yes it smells like rubber but really disturbing, I feel it or not my husband or my daughter or even the dog.
Sure, there are cheaper Trunkliners but these are mostly made of solid plastic. I think that here you get a very good product at a fair price.
