Plus points:
Clear everything is not perfect, but they should be evaluated as a compact camera and not a DSLR. Picture quality is very good. The dynamic range is very good (in the normal automatic mode). Also pictures under difficult conditions are better than those of other cameras (eg darkness without using a flash, backlight, light and dark areas, etc.). The GPS location is found quickly, subjectively felt faster than the Panasonic. These are the things that are most important to me. The Wasserwaagen- / tilt display that can show, is also great. I also like that the camera has a micro-USB socket for charging. Finally no longer carry along its own USB adapter cable. Only it's a little strange that the connection to the housing bottom is.
Bad points:
The touch screen feature of the Panasonic I do not miss, is anyway not yet uniformly pulled and not fully developed. What I miss something, is the Kartendarstellfunktion on the camera screen using the GPS position. But is not that bad, but I have the smartphone.
The result of the 3D still image function confuses me. The generated MPO file is on my 3D camera (Fujifilm) unreadable (certainly different format), but the computer (program Stereo Photo Maker), it looks as if the left image and right image would be identical. But how is it going. Proper 3D camera has a left and right lens, and Sony to make a 3D image without swivel? But is not that important to me, I still have the Fujifilm 3D.
What I have not tried:
- Video (I do not do so often, I do not place such high demands on it), is already fit, AVCHD and MP4 are possible
- Miniature function (I've tried on the Panasonic, looks quite nice, but I do not need)
- GPS track log: I'm usually with the smartphone.
Conclusion: 5 points! That's the camera!
Update: I got a comment that the 3D images to look great over HDMI to a 3D enabled TV. I'll check in facilities ...
