Super camera for a good price

I've already made several hundred photos and notice the following:

Pro:
- Very stylish design 'with this camera falls on you!
- Very noble and high-quality workmanship
- Large LCD screen
- The camera fits in your pocket, as it is only 18 mm high.
- Auto mode works well. The camera looks for even the best 'program' for the photo. So it completely automatically, for example, point to Macro, if you approach very close to the object to be photographed (eg flower).
- The camera has a Gesichtserkenner If a person is targeted automatically switches the Ixus 100 IS in the portrait mode.
- Automatically selects the optimal settings for the brightness and color of the recording.
- Red eye removal 'also subsequently still possible.

Cons:
- Not recommended for people with large hands, because the camera but is very small.
- With some images I list in the view to 100% a slight noise. In my opinion this is due to the extremely high resolution (12 megapixels), although the lens is not designed for. But if you have possibilities of image editing, I recommend to simply reduce the size of that image (eg 21 x 28 cm at 300 dpi), then the noise should no longer be on.

Since I work in the publishing industry, I have the opportunity to look at the pictures on a color-calibrated monitor. This I did today and loved it. Here and there are a few outliers, but this is certainly a matter of adjustment when shooting. Anyone who buys this camera, I put my heart to read the description carefully and deal with it with the numerous shooting modes.

By mentioned Contra points I subtract a star. The handling of the camera, but many different modes and capabilities and, in my opinion, excellent color quality deserve 6 stars. Thus, my clear average: 5 stars!
