I'm more responsible since I have. It really is not poorly designed because it loads fast, say when the batteries are HS (it avoids believe that load, then they died ....).
Search conditions, for loading Alkaline battery: some do not suffer to be recharged and takes fairly well borne, but not super long. by cons, some alkaline battery starts to run some time after charging ... it depends brands.
Overall I am delighted with this charger.
