There are cheaper pastes, sure. This here is very resistant, they use the "fat" of the screws on the bike. No more setting and the threads are also protected - Please note that use of copper paste on places where that is not prescribed, other (lower) tightening torques to be used as the paste reduces the friction between the threads.
