Since this is my first video projector, I have no comparison. The advance for people who are used to other (mainly light output). The LG PG60G has found its way to me, because we had no TV, and wanted to watch the matches during the World Cup. The neighbors did not want to (Pro MacBook) rigid with us on the laptop. So little researched, and because I wanted to use in the absence of a TV the flexibility of laptop Guckens throughout the house further, I have a projector searched, with which one can look almost anywhere. This satisfies the LG PG60G for us. We look in the living room with laptop and projection on the white wall. Here, the projector is set on a tripod. In the bedroom is / is the projector on the headboard of the bed and can wonderful project at the ceiling, while we lie comfortably in bed. This all works fine, via Thunderbolt (mini DisplayPort) on Mac. The battery capacity is sufficient for good well darkened room in economy mode for a movie. The light output is not enough without Enrgiesparmodus (ie with power supply) in order to watch movies in daylight. The room must be darkened, but what's OK for me. This is not a significant limitation for us, so far, the device is perfect. We usually let the sound through the stereo system running, the almost impossible to stop using internal speaker is not actually used. In my view, one would have to be able to save, because even my MacBook Pro has built better speakers. But the only drawback is the lack of wireless connectivity with my Mac. But this one can not be blamed for LG, because there simply is a lack of generally passing through standards (as you hold dear on 60 year old interfaces firmly!). That would be really remember the last icing - to watch with battery power anywhere without cables. Well, maybe soon.
