I had been looking for a good small LED torch with practical operation and am eventually landed at the NiteCore. Convinced have me compared to other models, the thoughtful use with Turbo + Custom Mode. My concerns about the configuration of the Custom Modes have dissolved very quickly in air in practice. One must note only that the key for the indexing of the modes is quickly enable and turn on again (in the instructions just what of fast light pressing the button). The slight press is not a prerequisite for the mode switch, it makes it easier but of course. Likewise, does not have the knob quite druchdrücken for storing the mode (to instructions). The mode is maintained when you do not quickly turn on again from /. I had after the vistas of principle no problems with own feet moving the Custom Modes.
The haptic appearance and quality are top notch and the price is reasonable (reflector, glass, aluminum, thread sealing). The luminous efficacy in Turbo Mode is extreme for one AA battery and in combination with one of the weaker modes in Custom mode you are prepared for all everyday situations. Switching the light turning the head is quite fast and intuitive, but is stiff enough to never adjust themselves can.
It should be noted that I have already received an improved version of the lamp pictured sent. This has an XP-G2 LED and a total of slightly improved values (180lm, 3350cd, 115m; see photo). But it is the same model (MT1A).
