Super games console and more

I am actually a diehard PC gamers, but I am now switched to console. I had then the PS3, but it has since not yet borne fruit tackle what consoles. Meanwhile me this hardware aufrüsterei is just too stressful. Always buy everything new again, just so you can play the next big game. The PS3 has now can last 8 years on the console market. Meanwhile all our latest games, logically, not so good, because the hardware is too outdated.

Now with the Playstation 4, I very much hope that the console keeps just as long. My first game was GTA 5 and I was more than excited. Of course, FarCry 4, Assassins Creed Unity and The Order 1886 look more than super. Of course, the PC geeks would say now that the graphics look even better on the PC. Can be good, I find it not to, because I want to play the game and do not want to see how great but the polygons and other things are.

I do not care and I am very satisfied with the graphics performance of the PS4. But for now more.

Appearance:
Visually, the PS4 is well done, and it would not be my first choice. Find as you could have done more. Maybe do the next time an online survey, which wins the best design. I have the PS4 brought me in white, because I wanted from this standard Black away. Looks really great and few in my living room.

Performance and graphics:
I can only say that currently every game simply looks great and the PS4 provides ample power, whether movies or play the Bluray. In the already well swallow power play, you'll hear often times the fans turn up, but I think is normal. As with a gaming laptop needs the heat to go somewhere in the small housing.
From a hardware perspective, the PS4 has an 8-core processor 1.6 GHz with integrated graphics unit and 8GB Ram.

Features:
The gamepad has also been revised. It now has a small touchpad and an integrated speaker. With GTA 5 for example you can not hear the phone partners on TV, but on the gamepad. A funny thing I think.

Another feature is streaming its current gaming session via Twitch or Ustream. But you can also record video that is that the PS4 anyway everything picks up what you play. Men can then push of a button to edit the video and upload example on Facebook.

Negative aspects:
Unfortunately it is not possible via eg PS3 Media Server to stream movies or music on the PS4. On one hand, really stupid, but then wants Sony yes earn with their own Stream Offered money.

Playstation Network has always been free, as far as the multiplayer. Since the PS4 one must unfortunately be Plus member, if one wants to play with others online. Although there are only 14.99 for 3 months, but again a must if you want to play online.

Therefore, I give the console only 4 stars, but I am still happy and glad that I bought the PS4.

It was previously known that the console has no way to stream films from a media server, etc.. Meanwhile, there are the media player app from Sony. This allows access and media server, such as from my Fritz box or my Windows PCs. There are the popular formats including MKV playback. Unfortunately, there is again a hook, because the player can not play stuff with DTS. If you convert the movies to AC3, it goes again. You can also connect USB sticks and hard drives and use over the player music, pictures and movies, unfortunately, no MKV since the PS4 FAT32 only can read and most MKV is too large for the format.
