However, you should make the overall system before buying a few thoughts. If you do not, you pay for it with time and effort:
- The card requires min, 500W from the PSU. This has a standard tower PC NOT! So we have a Pure Power CM BQT L8-CM-630W reordered and installed. This power supply is top, perfect for this graphics card. Who makes such conversions but not daily, who has since been its first crisis. Nevertheless mastered.
- Then it is very critical: The card will only fit into a slot on the motherboard (which is called, I think AGP slot), and the map is mega long (27cm!). So long that the hard drive cage has prevented the installation. Remove all hard drives, saw off about 3cm on the frame of the hard drives, file off (there was some perhaps the tool to not at all), and re-install everything, lay new data cables and power supplies .... The card also has an extra 6-pin. Power supply that was thanks to the new power supply unit then also available. However, it could also fail the start.
In the end everything has worked out well and then the card immediately ran smoothly after installing the driver.
I take off any points for the laborious installation. Had me first to inform better.
