I have replaced with the induction field around 15-year-old ceramic hob Bosch. The conversion was relatively easy, since the induction field was a little thicker, I had to make a few adjustments. In addition, the cut in my kitchen plate about 1.5 cm was too big, so I had to reduce this by a small strip of wood. But it was all done in about 30 minutes. The induction field is super - a star deduction there only for my opinion a little scratch-sensitive and relatively thin stainless steel frame. Here remains to be seen whether it looks good in the long term. Just be aware when installing something here already. But for the price the cooktop is highly recommended - the who once cooked with induction, wants nothing else. Unfortunately, we had about 70% of all pots and pans replace (easy with a magnet on the ground test) because they were not suitable for induction.
