But none of this was really satisfying - both wireless and diverse Powerline adapters were (for me) to stream large amounts of data easy to unreliable and / or too slow.
When I was already on the verge of giving up and consuming to install LAN cables, I then stumbled upon the CoaxNet adapter here.
As I still had an unused antenna cables in the wall, and it no longer even ankahm on another attempt, I have me in Amazon 2 adapter ordered.
The installation was an absolute breeze simply carved (exactly as simple as Powerline), and the data rates and about meeting quality has me by stool:
Absolutely stablie and 100% reliable 8.9 MB / sec. Per FileCopy of an SMB server
By comparison, other things being equal, I had a 100 Mbit / s LAN cable 9.2 MB / s, over Powerline 200 / 500Mbit / s max. 6 MB / s, and 300Mbits / s WLAN 4-8 MB / s highly variable.
I have the adapter now for 8 weeks in continuous use and yet not a single dropout or Disconnect - ie 100% availability and reliability!
Conclusion:
CoaxNet 200MBit / s is almost as fast as 100 Mbit / s LAN cable and just as reliable.
Good as It Gets - the boxes are worth every penny and would even deserve more than 5 stars ...
