- Low power consumption
- Low operating noise
- High storage capacity
- The speed was not as important to me, because on this HDD anyway only data is stored and the PC boots from an SSD.
- To my knowledge, the WD drive has a speed of 5400 RPM, so there is certainly faster disks, which then attract even more power and are louder and for me so did not come into question.
The plate was connected to a gigabyte sniper Motherboard with Intel Z97 chipset and runs without any problems under Windows 7
The disk had to be formatted in this Extra format, because the Windows can not manage otherwise 6 terabytes - that everything went smoothly and the Explorer is a usable memory 5.45 TB appear.
Operating noise is super quiet - I had never even so obsessed with a quiet hard drive :-)
Conclusion:
Quiet, remains cool and economical power consumption coupled with high capacity - I would not hesitate to buy again this disk :-)
