Had the Nile version with zip legs longer in use and the Gonso Shorts are probably from the same series. Both pants I had 3 weeks in Ireland use. Conclusion: even at 10 degrees and rain keeps wind and rain still from sufficient. From 4 bft then felt that but it's still ok Real windy. Because where your trousers, it is in contact with the body also inside at full wet uncomfortable. From 22-25 degrees my long legs were too warm and I switched on the Gonso short bike shorts. Caution and not 5 stars is because the material does not like sharp stones on the seating surfaces. Both Nile and Short have now both holes in the buttocks which are to indeed mend (Material is), but just ugly. Is probably the "lightweight" owed. So on uneven seats which inferiority then it fits.
