I use this GPS Tracker primarily for tagging my photos so I can later know where this picture was taken. This works great. The unit depends on this most outside backpack. The recorded data are usually quite accurate, every now and then comes in cities a slight zigzag course while out what can be explained by urban canyons, but I do not find that particularly extreme. To date, adjust the position quite precisely even in cities.
I use but not the free software from the manufacturer, I'm Mac users and is available only for Windows NTRIP available. But that's not a problem because the miniHomer is supported by the Mac software myTracks. The reading of the tracks and tag photos without any problems and very intuitive.
For firmware updates, the device must be connected to a Windows computer.
