Super picture quality when he can turn

I bought this scanner due to the numerous positive reviews.
However, there was with the software installed on my scanner firmware (version 1.29) is a problem at startup, if a memory card was inserted. Because then only the blue background is displayed with a wavy pattern, the menu but did not appear after several minutes. Only after several attempts, it worked once randomly. Then you could scan and the images were good even at the lowest resolution. After switching off and on again, however, there was again the problem that the scanner has been hung at boot time. After several attempts, I have found a workaround: If you start the scanner without inserting a memory card, an error message indicating that a memory card is missing. If you only then inserts the memory card, the scanner will start normally. On the memory card (Patriot 32GB MicroSD Class 10), whose speed and their formatting (only FAT32, then NTFS, then FAT32) it may not have been, since it was only one problem at boot time and the scanner - with a workaround - the memory card could use. In addition, the scanner was fully charged. Obviously, therefore, only the boot loader in the firmware 1.29 has a bug.

Perhaps past and future customers have a different firmware can, therefore, use their scanner without any problems and take pleasure in the very good image quality (hence 2 stars). I could use it so the workaround described also, but for almost 70 I see simply no reason why I should put up with this deficiency in a new product at full price -> return / reimbursement!
