The Sicherheitsmöglihkeiten are probably the best on the market. This I can tell only conditionally, how effective the software works, sure, however, is that I on my PC had problems with neither viruses nor with attacks and surf a lot and a lot in forums, which are partly already heavily ad-supported and partially already vulnerabilities reveal. What I can tell, however, the handling:
1) Operation
Even if you have to look for some functions first beginning the operation is very intuitive and fast. There are not numerous submenus where you have to sift through, but the main features are fast and easy to finden.Trotzdem there are so many settings that almost every area will be covered in order (port forwarding, Phishing Filter, etc.)
2.) Speed
Although in my desktop already a elderly Athlon X4 tinkers, hardly notice the software in the background. That's at Norton completely different, since it significantly slow performance.
3.) Irritation
Everybody knows it from Windows and other software that one due to the abundance of pop-up menus at some point just annoyed they acknowledged. This is not only lässtig, but not the point of it, because possibly had the info anyway an important content. In Kaspersky there are also quite a few inquiries in the factory settings. Who but a bit concerned with the matter, can disable many pop-ups specifically so that Irritation can be set to a reasonable minimum with no vulnerabilities to reveal (a NAS on my network is not a potential security risk). I did not manage in Norton so because either reopens much floodgates or permanently receives requests.
4) Product Activation
The run every 3 licenses as soon as the first is activated, makes sense, otherwise one could eg cover with the package for 3 years a PC and is not the responsibility of the manufacturer. I understand, however, that it annoys one or the other. But I had this week the problem I have on Windows 8 ubgegradet and I no Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 was installed there anymore due to incompatibility. So I have already counted thus having to already buy (3 months before the end of license), the 2013er version. But I've just downloaded the latest version of my 2012 product key entered and KIS 2013 is it. So I did not expect and I'm pleasantly surprised
5.) Buying at Amazon
First, it is cheaper than the update to buy directly from the manufacturer on Amazon. In addition, it turns out also uncomplicated. Simply order, 2 days later in the mail box, enter the code and you're done. The update directly from the manufacturer's site took me two weeks before I finally had the key. That happened to me also only 1x. Here Norton is also the negative example. I have. For our company made 2 years ago, the update directly from Norton. But there have made the mistake of saying, I want the whole not as a download rather than CD. This was a total of 8 weeks to arrive, since it has been sent (along with the Key) from Norway (mind you order at Norton in Germany).
