The SodaStream Soda is actually really great. He is working properly and the water is excellent. However, I have a feeling that he did not get along with some line waters. With my girlfriend it was the water in the dorm. The bubbler was just one year old and at one time the water smelled and tasted like rotten eggs. However, without a major impact on the acute wellbeing. After having unscrewed the gas cylinder, we discovered that the rubber on which exaggerated the CO2 bottle, strong foul smell! Even an attempt at cleaning was in vain. It broke up black coating of rubber! In my unit it was similar also after one year. The rubber smelled a bit musty at a random control. I cleaned the machine, and after that everything was all right first. Shortly after, my water began weird musty taste. The taste is reminiscent of rotten eggs and chemicals. I blame it on the water and its high calcium content here on the Baltic Sea, although recently tested here in the house and the water an absolutely impeccable quality has been demonstrated. I'm going to go first to buy a new device. Should be so but after a year, it was with me and SodaStream. My friend buys now back bottles of water.
