Sound
=====
The sound is convincing in my configuration. together with my Nubert nuBox equipment (3.1, ie front left, front right, center and subwoofer) while coming no surround feeling but at least cinema feeling on. In stereo mode, ie without center, the sound quality is still convincing.
Service
=========
First of all, the device must be carried out, which actually comes from the child's hand and is carried out via HDMI with the on-screen menu. Then you can manually Console post about the settings and reconfigure example. Inputs and rename or configure new speakers (my Center came only after four weeks to me ...).
Thereafter, the operation is limited actually to select the appropriate audio format in which the receiver here almost always carries the best selection, and the raising of the level of the center speaker, if the language is too vague.
Features
=========
Most of the features will be apparent from the description, so I'm still short on the killer feature for me: Spotify Connect! If you have a Spotify Premium account, there is nothing better than Spotify Connect. The receiver is here remotely from your smartphone, but invites the streams itself down. The smartphone is only required for the control and consumes no power. Suuuuper, but only works with Premium account.
Disadvantages
========
A few drawbacks I will not hide from you, but:
- From time to time is a restart with plug pull necessary because some things no longer work. Times it no longer switches to the correct audio mode, sometimes jerky audio playback. Restarting helps here always, but is complicated by the fact that it is only by pulling the power plug.
- Better you close to the receiver with LAN and not wireless, the wireless hangs from time to time (in my case about 1 times per week) on.
Apart from a few small things, the AVR-X2100W is absolutely recommendable!
