I say straight away that I'm not a TV professional. Therefore I can only describe my impressions as a normal consumer. Whether you will be happy with this TV, depends on what you expect. You can not complain about the image quality absolutely. For sound quality I can not say much because I immediately connected it to the home theater system. On connectivity lacks absolutely not (optical inputs and outputs, 2x Scart, Component, HDMI and of course a lot more. I do not know what should one missing). Cute little features like the Möglichleit to give the sources name to, for example, not having to remember which device depends on which Scart or HDMI, make life easier. The ability to files over the network from the computer to play, is also very nice (I have not tried yet). The only way by which we come to disappointment, if you expect too much from the Internet connection. Yes, it exists. Yes, it works. But the benefits tends to the potential uses currently available approaches zero. The weather I can get via teletext or in the news, stock market news flicker at N24 eh constantly over the screen. For Sudoku I need not say anything. Aha, now there is finally Yahoo Videos. Something I've been looking for! Why not Youtube? Simply because the whole system of Yahoo stems. Therefore, it is also Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance and ... oh yes, fortunately Flickr is one of Yahoo. Also longer videos, small games, music and the like to the internal memory of the TV (!) You can load. Sounds good, but has a catch: This content can be illogically not relate directly via the Internet connection of the TV, but you have (please refrain from laughter) download first on the PC from the Samsung website to pack, to a USB flash drive and then play on the TV. How awkward can make something with an Internet-connected TV? God knows what Samsung has ridden since. But the opportunity itself, aufzuspielen content on the TV, of course, has style. The combination of TV and Internet with no set-top box so is still clearly in its infancy. But fortunately there are firmware updates (which can be, if I have understood correctly, also can play only a USB stick), so you do not necessarily have to buy a new device, in order to benefit further innovations in the area to come. I've been buying at least so far no regrets. About longevity I can not say anything yet because I have him only a few weeks.
