General:
The thermal switch has an external temperature sensor (2.5m cable). Depending on whether the cut-one less than or greater than the set switch-off temperature, can be controlled with the device heating or cooling. It is particularly convenient that all settings are retained in Spannungsaufall, so does not matter if Mutti times the adapter from the outlet draws because this is a short-hand for the vacuum cleaner.

Use for my Eisatzfall:
I have out of the house a drainpipe that after 35 years this winter despite insulation is first eigefroren and torn me.
When renewing I now have a heating cable laid pipe heating kit 25W / m incl. 2m connecting cable and rubber connector (length 6m), so I can heat the pipe during prolonged severe frost electrically. Is controlled pipe heating by the Universal thermostats UT 200 of ELV. In addition to automatic heating of the pipe I can through the permanent display of the thermostat temperature for the first time also constantly see how cold it actually is actually under the insulation on the pipe.
Desirable for this use of the instrument would, however, an additional LED for the operating state "a". The existing display of the word "a" on the screen can be seen only from the immediate vicinity.
Now the next winter can come, the test operation is running anyway excellent.
