Ultimately, the decision to state whether it is the aluminum version or the carbon. Mainly due to base the cost I am then in the aluminum version remained.

Not quite so happy I am with the quick-release plate, because otherwise I have everywhere the Manfrotto plates and then had always unscrewing. For this plate is somewhat smaller / lighter than the Manfrotto what the weight will benefit again.
The ball head has been able to always hold the camera in position without large tightening.
As for my use me so far no negative points are noticed on the tripod and I would buy it without thinking big for me once I give the full star number.
