For such a lightweight stability is quite considerable, even at maximum utilization of the height of the center column can be to increase the stability and reduce vibrations at an extra hook Attach a weight and if you just do not want to photograph / film over a railing or a window sill reaches the maximum (small) Lens height often. With my Lumix G6 system camera I use for freehand shots often a deliberately low perspective, especially with portraits of children, animals, pictures, etc. In the countryside, the eye level usually does not play a major role.
The critical information arising already from the item description and photos Manufacturers
+++ Travel tripod incl. Ball head and tripod bag (3 drawers, load capacity 2.5 kg, 86.5 cm high, 30 cm packing size) +++
In addition still some details from the publisher's website:
Rotation of the central column and the tripod legs by triangular profile design
In tripod star built and well-read bubble level
Massive camera plate with cork overlay and 1/4 inch camera connection screw
Easily readable scale for precise horizontal panoramic shots
3/8 inch tripod mount - also suitable for third-party manufacturer
Suitable for CSC cameras and medium-sized DSLR cameras
My comments:
- The water level is very small, better cameras are partially available inclinometers.
- The main shortcoming I feel that the tripod brings only a camera plate, at this size tripod quick coupling is better. I bought a Cullmann Cross CX420 clutch unit to black. See above for the customer photos.
- The pack size of 30 cm can be reached only by dismounted the ball head, otherwise the pack size is just under 40 cm.
Conclusion: Solid and well-made travel tripod. If one should make do with the amount you still buy a suitable quick coupling it. Alternatively, a really small and lightweight travel tripod would be as mentioned above and a full Large at a certain price, this is highly dependent on the personal needs and planned conditions of use.
