I searched for my Nikon D 7100 lightest possible travel tripod with a small pack size. I found it in Sirui T-025X. Still, I'm not completely satisfied: 1. The included quick release plate does not allow for a stable connection to the camera. With the quick-release plate Sirui TY-50, this drawback is resolved, however, come back a few grams of extra weight added. 2. (extendable) center column can be just unscrewing not drive down. Unscrewing is troublesome and time-consuming. So you have to decide: with or without a center pillar? A construction with schiebbarer between the tripod legs center column would certainly not a big problem. 3. Under the central column is located rather than the usual large hook (to attach a weight to stabilize) only a tiny, impractical eyelet.
The stability is good with no center pillar and without extending the thinnest leg segments, satisfying with all leg segments with unausgefahrener center column still acceptable, available in fully extended center column only in a few situations.
Overall, a clear compromise in favor of weight and size and to the detriment of stability!
