Much Anticipated, much rumgeschaut and finally found: the ideal travel tripod. It's small, it's easy and it's stable enough to carry my D80 with standard lens. Who is looking for a tripod for traveling, fits in the trunk and not valuable suitcase weight steals, which is optimally served by Slik Sprint Mini II GM. Who does not like traveling or additional weight and size does not hesitate, however, should look further. It is precisely the spherical head with a single locking screw is in my eyes not really comfortable. A three-way pan head with long handle can there be a lot more comfortable. Even the smallest step of the extendable legs should only be used when the level really needs, because the construction then is a bit wobbly through the thin arms.
