I had on my bike so far Klickpedale with bilateral clicker. However, as I often ride lately even shorter distances with normal shoes with the bike, I decided to buy Combi-clickers.
I had also previously Klickpedale using the same technique, but by another company and on both sides.
So I changed screwed. Left / right is nice notes on the pedals that you can not go wrong. The provision was of course easily. The hardness adjustment (trigger mechanism) is also simple and infinitely customizable.
So far everything well.
The supplied cleats bolted to the shoes, tested and ... Well, a little disappointed. Am I clicked, I have a right / left Game of about half a centimeter in each direction.
I do not know if this is intended, but at my old clickers that was not so and irritates me this game tremendously, because I always think, I would not have clicked correctly, but I am. Mostly the shoe triggers when testing from the pedal. That certainly will not happen if you put it on very hard, but I take a medium to light triggering strength.
The game is always the same, no matter what hardship I hire.
Maybe I'm getting used to it over time until now (a few weeks use) it bothers me but still. Partially so much that I'd rather reach for normal shoes, as the wheel pants.
Otherwise, I can say that the pedals are well made. On the flat side you will not slip and they are beautiful smoothly, as it should be.
However, they seem to me relatively heavy, with me personally is quite wurst ...
There was some discussion in the reviews, whether these pedals are useful:
I think everyone has to decide for his purpose, what is the right thing. What these pedals but certainly are not very suitable, is to click out in inclement terrain and to use the other side. This is only recommended if the clickers are sunk into the shoe. In my racing shoe they are not and that's why, the other side is totally unsuitable for my road shoes.
In addition, these are actually more than MTB bike pedals, but I'm also more leisure-driver ;-)
For beginners, I would note also that it is easier to do with two-sided pedals, you have shoes in which the cleats are not sunk, because you simply "enter" can, without having to pay attention to which side is up.
