So we explored the ways and times were we quickly assured that we in no way want a DSLR, but since you have to drag your stuff quickly in weight through the woods here. The tendency to Veschmutzung when changing lenses, and not least, the demands on the photographer left us rather take the field of bridge cameras more closely. In question Sony HX100V, Conon came SX 40 HS and Nikon Coolpix P510.
Because of internet reviews the Nikon eliminated fairly quickly, because the large Zoom probably strong at the expense of image quality.
So I have then compared the Sony and Canon together and was disappointed in the MEGA-zoom range of the Canon. Here the Sony clearly made better pictures despite a lesser zoom.
And just before I was going to buy the Sony, the Canon SX 50 HS appeared. So buying shifted and awaited the first experience of the Internet community. Everything great ???? Hardly negative reading? And then came one at that, that Sony is no longer available. The successor to the HX200V will be worse and so the decision was clear:
We get the SX 50 HS!
So ordered, unpacked and excited directly. Super pictures "out of the cam". Nevertheless intervene many ways by hand, all possible image programs on board and very handy.

Sorry, we have no idea of photography. Aperture and ISO, what is it and what influence have on the picture? I can therefore say little if chromatic aberrations or blooming or anything else occurs. We look easy, that the automatic mode apparently makes almost everything right and makes us wish for. Such beautiful pictures we've never snapped. So you can see what we mean, we have attached some sample images.
We are excited and would buy this super camera again!
