After a disc of Vivaldi concertos Dresden pretty wonderful, voila directing a series of works of Telemann prolix;
The disc begins with an opening, namely a dance suite for orchestra, inspired by the French suites Telemann being an admirer of the gallant style of the kingdom of lilies.
This suite is reminiscent of the "Water Music" by Handel with the presence of horns and the passion and majesty that emanates from the partition.
Then we get four concertos dedicated to the violin and flute from which spring a great influence of Vivaldi but also Bach.
Telemann brings his special touches made a good dose of humor, hardiness, influences of air from central Europe and France.
This anthology of art Telemann is a good reason to discover this musician had in his time out of the shadows the great R.Goebel.
An opportunity also to push a crowing with the confirmation of Alexis Kossenko as one of the greatest conductors of current Baroque ensemble.
