Who but the headset for use on desktop considering I strongly advise against it. Have two external Bluetooth dongles tried a stereo set up playback with microphone .... false readings.
Apparently it is still not possible in the 21st century .... If one selects in the Windows Sound options stereo headset you get at first the desired option with good sound quality. But if one changes then in the Recording tab in Windows peipst the headset 2 times short and one long ... Then it was that with stereo HQ tone and you get mono audio quality (1 channel 16bit 8000Hz) with microphone active. (Can no longer undo ... man has the headset until re pairing oO)
The Plantronics customer appears to be technically overwhelmed by such requests. Had contact with Plantronics DE and NL. Everyone has a different story ready to what it fails.
For such a professional company as Plantronics absolutely no condition.
There is also no way the headset is in USB mode to use because there is simply no drivers. (Win7)
Say broadly the headset for the desktop application is absolutely useless. (Except with Jack, but who buys a wireless headset to make then run it with jack)
Good product with top features but without any drivers and firmware for poor release without Win7 support. Therefore 3 stars deduction because something should not happen in such a manufacturer. We blame Plantronics pushed the dongles in the shoes. Have mitleiweile 5 different dongle tested ... all with the same problem. Therefore, I conclude rather bad firmware of the headphones.
