The Naked and Famous were the surprise newcomer with catchy indie-electro music in 2011.
Just under 2 1/2 years later, now comes the successor who has to master the difficult task to build on the catchiness and the still existing musical complexity.
Direct advance can be said: mission succeeded.

The album plays lightly in the ear canals without very ripen the old patterns. On the contrary, you can feel how the band has their own style and excels with little musical gimmicks. Moreover, instruments such as the piano or acoustic guitar to find their place, which makes the garment even more varied sound.
The frontwoman Alisa Xayalith moves conspicuous in the foreground, the male vocals seem to be only an epiphenomenon. This development is unfortunate on the one hand, on the other hand, characterizes the style much more.

Highlights are not to be found on this record, because this would have differences in quality of the songs to follow. Here are 12 Indie pearls of the highest quality on an album again, make the anticipation for the upcoming concerts in the fall. Overall, a fantastic album, which the high-strong Vorgäner "Passive Me, Aggressive You" topped the whole, though not an absolute massive hit for the radio came out here. Sustainability is a top priority in New Zealand on the other hand. "The Naked and Famous" have found themselves, hopefully so do the listeners in large numbers.
