Survived bath

Servus,
we have the part for some time and it runs very reliably. The large display helps to tell the time across the kitchen.
Front housing is aluminum.
This part is completely simple to use.
Small drawback: If one wants to switch from 8:00 minutes to 7:00 minutes, then the alarm can only count up. Just takes, but when the finger is on the button, you go fast enough. Alternatively, pressing the two buttons left and starts right from 0 to count up, goes. The sound is loud; of which I am not wanted to be woken early ... typical Tüüt-Tiit-ti-Tiit halt. And the magnet that keeps well and a floor stand must also be mentioned.
The part has survived his first full bath - in boiling salted water. This lasted until the timer was out again.
First was in the well layer, no display but the display glass is not bound (by the abrupt Temparaturwechsel). Battery out. I've broken it, can be opened well with a tiny Phillips head, then again inside 4 screws to unscrew the motherboard with the components. All dried with 'nem Kleenex and screwed together again - goes.
Since one can only give 5 stars - or?

(Update 2011-07:. New bought 3x plopped into the boiling water, gradually disappeared the segments of the figure, then the cheese and cream sauce - then was it from ... - bought new - let's go)
