The operation of the recorder is performed flawlessly - even with the manual I got along quite well. The image quality is excellent. Praise also for the hard disk and its management.
The weak point of the device is the DVD drive. After 3 1/2 years burning DVDs prepared visibly difficulties with dropouts to complete failure. Since I was otherwise satisfied with the device, I could install a new DVD drive from Panasonic service in Dusseldorf, although the cost at more than 200, - EUR were. After more than 4 years, the new drive now has given up the ghost. A by repeated repairs, which in any case is likely to be again at least in the aforementioned order of magnitude, is for me no longer be considered, so I'm going now to buy a new device.
It may be inconsistent, but I'll decide again for the Panasonic brand - in the hope that the DVD drive of the newer model puts a greater durability of the day.
