Twice a week I train with a swim team and there is the Garmin Swim its full potential: Even drills such as kick or one-arm crawl may occur. You'd have to only specify beforehand that now a drill session comes, start the clock and manually enter the distance for the section. This also works embedded in normal swimming style sections. Genial! The evaluation on the computer then provides the whole picture: swim time per lane with time stamp per 25m (or according to any other path lengths). Break times. Swimmstil and many other details.
The transfer to the computer is automatic. Simply put near the USB antenna. The computer checks for new training data are available, and downloads them.
On the arm the device interferes not swim.
Could be better:
- I would like to became night agen which drill swam manually in the drill sessions in the computer. Then you could better compare the data
- The same applies to occasionally erroneously recognized swimming strokes. It would be great if you could manually correct
- At my age (50) eyes'll weaker to close. With swimming goggles I often do not recognize the display. That was annoying, especially in the learning phase. In the meantime, I know the key bindings and button pressing sequences by heart
Conclusion: power bursting with fun! I do not want to miss the machine!
