Suddenly (Audio CD)

Customer Review

SUDDENLY is a friendly soul album with all the ingredients, which requires commercial success.
Oceans songs feature tautness in the ideas and serene song dramaturgy.
Already in the lead story "European Queen" is clear where the wind blows. A dreamy lyrics and instrumental elegance flush healing the ear canals; a catchy tune with time fuse "Mystery Lady" and "Syncopation" put it seamlessly with its driving rhythms and sophisticated melodies continue ,
Strange sounds but then on "Lover Boy", the rock deposits negative really stand out for inappropriate Hard. This he can save as well as the rehash of Lennon / McCartney's "The Long And Winding Road"
Nor can convince the broad title track "Suddenly", this Ocean is simply missing the vocal size that distinguishes Peabo Bryson or Jeffery Osborne in their ballads.
Conclusion: Those who expect an album of genius' '81 NIGHTS class, will be disappointed. These SUDDENLY sounds too average to be able to lift it out of the wide-range soui can. Quite nice, but not much more.
