I Created Disco (Audio CD)

Customer Review

"I Created Disco" from 2007 was the first album of the Mega Sellers Calvin Harris. The Scottish electro DJ is now the bestverdienenste DJ in the world, ahead of David Guetta, what amazes me, because that much more present in the charts than Harris. Conceptually, both now interchangeable, indisputable but also both well in their electropop with catchy melodies and numerous guest vocalists / -sängerinnen.
These CD are thus the roots of Harris. The 14 tracks with a running time of 55:40 minutes, he recorded in his studio in Scotland Dumfries completely alone and also sung on all songs (except for two instrumental tracks). It was published in his homeland in 2007 and 2008 in Germany. And somehow, one can compare this record with no piece of music he makes today. In fact, at that time were not pop songs, but as the title truthfully promises pure Discomusik- only just made entirely with synthesizers. I think they are still not a whit worse than his new stuff, actually even more better. All titles make mood, of course, danceable and go forward. Alibi ballads as on his recent works, there are not up on the boring instrumental track "Love Souvenir" yet. Only "diversified" is the drive not just for good. And the last piece of Harris ventures even in the Synthiepopbereich. The presentation is great. Although lacking the lyrics (which is to get over with this type of music), the beautiful sheet in yellow and black, however, was provided with consuming spot varnish and looks classy. Information there may be little, but a long list of thank.
