Tablet with "notebook function"

Although the Acer Iconia runs with a standard Windows 8 or 8.1, in my opinion, however, still more than Tablet designed. To use it as a notebook I'd additionally acquire a mouse (not available to the single USB port to prove) that runs at best via Bluetooth.
It was purchased by me as a powerful tablet running on not only applications from the store but also standard desktop applications. For this purpose it the perfect device with good battery life, good image and excellent performance.

Why only 4 stars:
Upon delivery, the Convertible did not update partout and prevented thus subsequently upgrading to Win 8.1
Every time after it was shut down comes the familiar message that updates are being applied. After 20 minutes, the unit will start again to undo because an error has occurred only to these updates again.

In addition to massive pre-installed "crapware" is on the device but this now well known and seemingly standard.

My solution to the problem was to reinstall a clean operating system I but thanks to Secure Boot and other hurdles definitely can not recommend laymen. It is possible, however, is quite a bit of headstand actions necessary.

Worth mentioning:
*) WLAN functions normally with me (may be due to the reinstall as I have then used the latest driver) concerns what range and speed.
*) LAN port there is no (possibly via USB adapter possible?)
*) Keyboard extremely flat. For longer Tap not pleasant - enough for surfing or short transcripts.
*) Only 1 USB port

Because I knew what I buy I can live with these limitations - star deduction only for the above-mentioned update situation. Good hardware - poor (initial) Installation
