The first stumbling point in the installation instructions was that I should join the Tadobox directly to the heating, even though I have a room thermostat. I thought this will be replaced by the box ?? Well, I made everything as demanded by the installer.
After starting the heater this began after a brief check also directly on heating. But only at full throttle! It was so warm adjust the temperature within minutes in the apartment, that I first tried on the app. This was also shown, however, only in the app. The heating lies undeterred and gave on full throttle. All attempts did not bring me further. I resetete the individual components, turned the heater off and on again, but no response. Only full throttle. I walked slowly up a sweat ...
Well, all scaled back and set to output configuration and everything went as ever.
I then wrote to the support and after 5 days I was then times an answer.
So I did it all again finely wrapped and will return it tomorrow at Tado.
My heater is a Vaillant Ecocompackt with a ColorMatic 430 control.
Too bad, a lot of good things had read about Tado and hoped for some savings. But let's be honest. How long should I heat with Tado until I the 299 euros back in it have ???

TADO called me because of this recession here. They told me that you did not want to leave this lying down and it would be ridiculous if we would not get my heater up and running. I found very good !!
So I agreed that the components sends me again. Now, however, it had already given an update and it was the Smart Thermostat ships. I did not know.
All unpacked and when it should come to install, told me the Webgeführte installation instructions, a technician having to take my heater close look ???
All right. Annoyed packed the stuff again and Tado written. After some time, I was told I would have to have the TADO Extensionkit. Yes Perfect. Why was not equal to sent along? No matter. Paid and the next day it was already there. So again unpacked everything and registered. Worked through the Web installation and a technician should again take my heater inspected. I thought I hau the crap right on the wall ....
Again a few days later I got an email that you can regulate on the phone. So called and the nice man at the other end told me how I could connect the two cables. I thought, Man, two cables and can not tell you in writing? Well, the heating ran TADO. An inward cry through me. App open. All tutti. The app installed with my girlfriend. Also everything tutti. The heater ran five days wonderful. You could adjust everything as described by app.
Then yesterday I got a call on my friend at work. I could not understand sheer teeth chatter. But you probably muttered something, because of it would be freezing cold at home. I called my app and lo and behold: The Bridge had no connection to another device. So I recommended the heater off and on again and lo and behold the extension box and the Bridge running again. Everything is all right again.
Then the evening again the same game. No connection to the Bridge. This time the batteries from the Smarttermostat taken out and used after a short time. And it ran again.
Today the app made then times worse. And although I was Appmäßig at home, even though I was 60 kilometers away. However, we have also not the best reception, so it may be that I went Appmäßig lost. I looked for reception on and off the phone, switched on again but it did not work out. Then I once cleared me as a user and entered again and lo and behold TADO (APP) wanted to accept me again.
Well, let's watch the next time and then I'll write my final recession. But that will take, because I want to test only extensively before I decide for or against.
But anyway: You feel better when you consider that it saves heating costs ;-)
Because the behavior of Tado and whose support I give an extra two stars, so there are now three.
Update 2 ------- ------------
The heating control will run until today without any problems. There was no failure. They, too, APP is running perfectly. Whether I save some I would now like to know. According to the Tadoapp I save something every day. But that probably only shows the annual accounts for 2015. All rooms are heated as usual. The time a space remains cold I have not yet happened. Despite a multi-room solution would certainly be very useful. We'll see how TADO evolving.
Up to this point I still speak of a buy recommendation.
