So to get right to the result of Rocket Ride: The CD meets all my expectations, but the CD is compared to Hellfire Club much commercial and quiet. I think you realize this CD the 80 influences of bands like Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Firehouse on. Especially the reef cut not as concise and well as the keyboard plays a much larger role than in the predecessor. Nevertheless, the album is very good. Among the individual songs: 1. Sacrifice The opener is also the longest song with 8 minutes and brings everything together. Fast passages, quiet piano parts and a great chorus. The whole is supported by the thoughtful text. 5/5 2. Rocket Ride The title track is a very fast piece with a great chorus. Since there is not much to say except that my spacey keyboard like. 5/5 3. Wasted Time This song is a great mid-tempo masher with some quiet passages and a great text. 5/5 4. Matrix Matrix is a rather untypical Edguy piece. Sounds very modern. A few NuMetal influences are clearly out to listen. This is why a very great song. 5/5 5. Return to the Tribe When I heard the song for the first time, I immediately thought of We dont need a hero from the previous album. Unfortunately this is not enough fast song quite reach the class of We dont need a hero. Too Bad. 4/5 6. The Asylum The second longest song on the CD. Starts very slowly and then explodes in the middle part. A very great song. It reminds of Savatage. Really great. 5/5 7. Save me The only ballad on the CD. Reminiscent of a Bon Jovi ballad. I mean but positive. Great chorus. Maybe the 2nd single? 5/5 8. Catch of the Century This song could be Firehouse or Motley Crue. Super Chorus, very witiger text. Tobi finds that he was the catch of the century and he does not understand why the girls can not find him great. Tobi it is good. 5/5 9. Out of Vogue Can be in a few words. Just awesome. 5/5 10. Super Heroes I do not need to say much. Since this song was published as EP. 5/5 11. Trinidad I do not understand what many have to this song. I think it's a great pop song. Clearly it is not a typical Edguylied, but I find it well done with the Caribbean Feeling. 5/5
The two bonus tracks, I can only say that they have also become great. Fucking with Fire is a great, albeit perverted song with Mötley Crüe Touch. Land of the Miracle probably knows every Edguy fan. Great Livetrack.
