This is certainly a rich story and taking that offers us Stephen King, all in a smooth and efficient language (if not literary), with many scenes shock.
That said, it is however not in the presence of a masterpiece of the genre. First, as usual, King wrote kilometer and the story is too long: it would have benefited from being more concise. I also found a certain complacency in the free vulgarity repeatedly. Then, in this saga, many topics are covered but none are really thorough. Finally, the end is somewhat disappointing with a small taste of sloppy, and the revelations of the dome are simplistic.
So in the end, a book rather captivating reading (although it is not as original as this - a lot of impressions of déjà vu) but if we take a closer look at it, also has its share of defects.
