Technically ok, but be careful with 64bit operating systems!

At a price performance moderately useful printer scanner combined with reasonable print and scan results, especially for little money. However, caution is - as unfortunately apparently some HP products - offered with 64-bit operating systems.

This is the second HP printer, the 8.1 system runs smoothly on our 32bit Windows, Windows 8 and 8.1 64bit printers and scanners were identified but unfortunately only on daytime and worked only partially. Each (automatic) driver update also made sure that the entire HP Printer Scanner Suite had to be installed from scratch on the 64bit system to allow the printer at least there again "connected" than has been recognized and worked sporadically.

In sum: With a Windows 32bit Windows not a bad printer who operates a 64bit version or to switch it plans: Dear Stay away - the driver support by HP is not recommended here, in our experience.
